Coca-Cola Refreshments is Adopt A Highway’s Newest Partner in Pennsylvania!

Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation is proud to announce that Coca-Cola is our newest partner in the state of Pennsylvania! Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Plant has just joined the Sponsor A Highway program and AHMC is looking forward to working together to keep our communities looking beautiful and making our environment a cleaner and healthier place to live.

Coca-Cola is one of the very few major corporations that not only strives to reduce overall company waste, but that is actually 100% landfill free. Lehigh Valley Plant is partnered with Sustainable Waste Solutions (SWS), a company that provides environmentally friendly recycling and solid waste services to businesses across the state of Pennsylvania. SWS use a state-of-the-art, energy-from-waste recovery facility where they generate enough electricity from waste to power tens of thousands of homes per day in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Environmentally friendly initiatives like this are creating positive influences and improving our future every single day. While the foundation of Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation is built upon successful outdoor advertising for businesses across the country, we are also a company that has taken that opportunity one step further and have created a “Sponsorship Program” that is helping to improve our environment for generations to come.

Every new business that joins the program has the opportunity to sponsor two mile stretches of roadway where AHMC places sponsor panels with the company’s name and logo for community recognition. Our crew members will pick up trash and keep the roadway and the surrounding area clean. The collected trash is then taken to sorting facilities where items that can be reused are recycled and all remaining trash is disposed of properly.
