The book is an account of his experiences and is seen by many as one of the most influential books on life in Liberia. His inspirational new book begins as an abandoned three-month-old baby discovered in a community garbage dump crying from bites from fire ants. Through his various misfortunes including his adopted father being murdered and falling witness to violence of the Liberian civil war, he accounts his experiences and his inspirational journey and new life in America.

During his eighteen years of public speaking seminars it was his life that has not only changed his own personal outlook but others as well.
