Vehicle owners can have a relationship with their dealership that lasts for many years, not only affecting their total cost of ownership, but also how long their ride will stay running out on the road. According to DealerRater's 2014 Consumer Rating Index (CRI), no other mass-market auto brand has customers who are more satisfied with their dealership experience than Hyundai.

DealerRater determined its 2014 CRI by gathering 330,000 verified customer reviews from March 2013 to March 2014, averaging the ratings of individual brand dealerships based on a five-point scale. The dealership-review site sought feedback on both the sales and service experiences, including customer service, friendliness, quality of work, price and overall experience. With a score of 4.712, Hyundai dealerships topped competitors from brands like Buick, Honda, Kia and Subaru.

"Hyundai vehicles are built to last for decades, and as a Hyundai dealership, we always strive to build mutually beneficial relationships with our customers that last just as long," said Drew Hill, general manager of AutoFair Hyundai, a New Hampshire Hyundai dealer in Manchester. "Hyundai may be a mass-market brand, but when you visit one of its dealerships you're going to be treated to luxury-level customer service, whether you're looking for a new Sonata or need service done on your '98 Elantra."

In addition to its upmarket treatment of customers, Hyundai also offers an upmarket model with its redesigned 2015 Genesis, and the luxury sedan is proving it can take care of customers after they leave the dealership lot. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently presented the 2015 Hyundai Genesis with its Top Safety Pick+ designation, the organization's highest crash-safety rating. Going above and beyond the requirements for a Top Safety Pick+, the new Genesis received the top score of "good" in all five of the IIHS' crashworthiness tests while rating "superior" for its optional front crash-prevention technology.
