Solis Mammography, the nation’s largest independent provider of screening and diagnostics for breast health, is pleased to announce two key additions to its leadership team. Michael Bennett has been named as the company’s second chief development officer, and Sean Barker serves as the company’s vice president of finance.
As chief development officer, Michael Bennett assumes joint responsibility for driving the company’s national expansion efforts through acquisitions, de novo centers and hospital joint ventures. Bennett is an accomplished business development strategist with extensive experience in strategic account management for firms in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as business development officer for Invivo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips Healthcare.
Bennett graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in business management. He has received numerous professional awards, including the 2014 Account Manager of the Year and 2013 Presidents Award for overall revenue production.
As vice president of finance, Sean Barker joins the company with a broad base of experience in the healthcare industry. In his new role, he will develop and manage the company’s accounting platform, focusing on process improvement and best practice development in the area of internal and external controls, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and fiscal policy.
Barker’s experience includes service as assistant vice president of finance and administration for Concentra, a leading provider of employer-focused healthcare services. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois and is a licensed certified public accountant.
