Recently, the first head activity of Nanjing Innovation Week — China-Russia Grand Institute (Nanjing) Innovation Forum was successfully held in the Conference Center of the International Expo Center. With the theme of "New Opportunities for Innovation and Russia Cooperation under the New Development Pattern", the forum jointly holds international innovation activities online and offline, promotes two-way exchanges and consultation services and helps enterprises realize incubation and soft land.
The year 2020-2021 is the "Year of China and Russia Science and Technology Innovation" jointly announced by the heads of China and Russia. To implement the consensus of the two heads of state, further promote the exchanges and cooperation in science and technology, the 2021 Nanjing innovation week will determine Russia as a guest of honor. In addition to inviting Russian Consulate General in Shanghai, agencies in China, Russian experts and scholars, and Chinese universities, enterprises to attend innovation week, also plan multiple innovation exchange activities and science and technology project combination "package". It adds new momentum to the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Russia in the new era. A new chapter of Sino-Russian cooperation in science and technology is written.
On the site, St. Petersburg National University and Nanjing Jianye high-tech zone reach a cooperation framework agreement, explore to build China-Russia technology transfer achievement transformation service platform, conduct resource mutual promotion and introduction and technology transfer cooperation. It develops cooperation research projects for cross-border project matching and docking, joint research, scientific development and technology park, incubators, innovation center, science, and technology policy, innovation services and entrepreneurship services, and other common issues.
In addition to the Innovation Forum of China-Russia Grand Institute (Nanjing), the Innovation Week also held several China-Russia innovation activities such as China and Russia (Nanjing) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which continue to inject vitality into cross-border innovation and entrepreneurship in Nanjing. In addition, during the Innovation Week, the "China-Russia (Nanjing) Innovation Cooperation Service Center" will be inaugurated. It will gather international technology transfer institutions and foreign science and technology service institutions and actively promote the docking services of innovation resources between Nanjing and Russia.
In the future, based on the progress made in this forum, Nanjing will continue to explore bilateral collaborative innovation under the new development pattern, consolidate the foundation for cooperation, improve the communication mechanism, increase financial support, stimulate the huge potential of China-Russia scientific and technological cooperation, and build an innovation ecosystem for the sustainable development of China-Russia cooperation.
