Many studies have been done on the effects of music on learning and most have concluded that listening to music while studying can help a student improve emotionally, elevate mood and improve on memory.

Other studies have concluded that listening to music while studying produces negative results like lack of concentration, addiction, and poor productivity.

Students can be less productive

Some studies show that listening to music while studying can make a student less productive.

The problem is worse when a student listens to loud music while studying.

Listening to music might help a student study better for their coursework but you must be careful because sometimes it might negatively affect your productivity. Although each individual has their specific taste for music, soft background music gives better results during the study than hard and loud music.
