Vision Computers, a Norcross, GA-based computer supply merchant, has announced that it is distributing the NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation line of graphic processing units (GPUs) for deep learning workstations and related use cases.
The RTX 6000 Ada Generation is a professional graphics card that provides high-performance rendering, visualization, AI, and computing. It is built on NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace GPU architecture, combining third-generation RT Cores, fourth-generation Tensor Cores, and next-gen CUDA® cores with 48GB of graphics memory. It is capable of massive graphics processing, real-time photorealistic rendering, immersive augmented, mixed, virtual, and other extended reality environments, and the creation and deployment of advanced AI-powered solutions. It is virtualization-ready, with support for NVIDIA's RTX Virtual Workstation software that allows a personal workstation to be repurposed into multiple high-performance virtual workstation instances. This enables remote users to share resources to help tackle high-end design, AI, and computing workloads.
The ADA Lovelace architecture is the foundation for NVIDIA's Omniverse Enterprise, which focuses on connecting, building, and operating 3D pipelines and virtual worlds, such as the metaverse. The system can help teams overcome the challenges of physically accurate, large-scale simulations, as well as demanding AI, industrial, and scientific workflows.
Vision Computers says the product is targeted at users who are working with deep learning AI, high-resolution rendering, and 3D modeling. This includes organizations with a high demand for AI and machine learning.
“Many institutions, professionals, and even hobbyists are dabbling into artificial intelligence applications today, and these often require a lot of resources. The RTX 6000 Ada Generation is one of the best GPUs around, allowing users to go leaps and bounds beyond what they were able to do before,” says Shaan Bhakta, operations manager of Vision Computers. “We can custom-build workstations with whatever specs customers need for their projects. They can just give us what types of software they will be using, then we'll do the research to make sure that the hardware they will get will be able to comfortably run the software they need for their high-value projects. Our managed services program provides our customers extensive support with their hardware and operating system issues, so they can be confident that their projects can run with minimal interruptions.”
