MADRID, SPAIN, 10th May 2023 - Included as part of this year's new lineup chosen by popular vote, Paula González Carracedo joins the likes of Kate Dugan, vice-president of Brand Innovation at Beyond meat, and Chef Babette Davis, as well as host Miyoko Schinner and founder Jennifer Stojkovic, alongside many other prominent vegan women from the vegan scene.
Paula González Carracedo co-founded The Vegan Agency in 2019, an international PR and marketing agency based in Madrid. With over 20 years working in the animal rights movement, González Carracedo chose a pragmatic route towards making maximum impact on animal welfare, studying Business Administration and Communication to be better placed to achieve this goal. She passionately believes that it is up to brands to blaze a better, more sustainable, and kinder trail into the future for all of us; human and other animals alike.
Selected to give a workshop on the final day of the Vegan Women Summit, González Carracedo will focus on communication for vegan brands and the key element to communication - it’s what brands do that matters, not just what they say.
"I feel honoured to be able to speak to so many vegan business owners and advocates at the next Vegan Women Summit", says González. "The vegan scene is rapidly changing, it has nothing to do with what I encountered almost 20 years ago. There are many business opportunities because going fully plant-based is the easiest, most effective solution to our world’s current challenges says Cambridge University, Harvard University, WHO or FAO".
