For Brazilians and South Africans, Portugal offers a safer place to live while their home nations deal with economic turmoil and violent conflict.

When Pereira founded the agency in 2014 she had just returned to Portugal after living abroad for six years. She says things started to turn around in 2016 when more people began immigrating to Portugal to live. She says her job has been a very rewarding and wonderful experience.
