Run Away With Me (RAWM), a California-based turnkey wedding planning company, has launched its Luxury Elopements division, catering to a growing market of couples that choose to hold an elopement wedding, where there are no or very few guests.
While RAWM focuses on destinations in the Napa and Sonoma Counties in California, Luxury Elopements expands its reach to destinations all over the world. It is currently growing its partner venue network, with only a limited number of resorts per destination, carefully curating its list to ensure that all venues meet its high standards for style and exceptional service.
RAWM founder Brittany Rogers-Hanson says that the new division fills a space in the market for couples who want a luxury elopement experience but are having a hard time choosing due to an extremely high number of venues and resorts advertising online. RAWM provides concierge service that connects couples with meticulously selected beautiful resorts, and it will also book all the services needed for the elopement wedding to take place and provide a beautiful and memorable experience for the couple.
Elopement packages include the venue, the wedding officiant, a professional photographer, a wedding coordinator, floral needs such as bouquets/boutonnieres, and cake and wine. An optional hair and makeup service is also available.
“Previously, couples who elope would just run off to Las Vegas and get married at one of the many wedding chapels. But today, many people are choosing to elope and get married at a luxurious resort overseas. They now prefer to have a more intimate and romantic wedding versus having a huge wedding with hundreds of people, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
Since elopements often happen at venues that are very far from where couples live, it becomes impractical to visit before the ceremony. By carefully vetting the venues, RAWM helps couples being taken by surprise at the venue when it turns out looking very different from the pictures online.
