INTRO Aviation is providing innovative consultation and strategies to small and medium airlines which have had to fundamentally shift the way they operate following the end of the COVID19 Pandemic.

The company primarily works with airline owners and airline management to begin the process of developing strategic methods that are used to restructure and provide better optimization of the airlines’ services. INTRO Aviation works with airlines that have 15 to 25 aircraft in their fleet and a workforce in the thousands. When INTRO Aviation begins working with an airline one of the first things the company prioritizes is whether or not the airline they are serving has a financial structure that is generating the best possible profits. Looking at the financial structure will also give INTRO Aviation insight into what kind of restructuring they will be able to advise.

According to Peter Oncken, CEO of INTRO Aviation, it is important for the company to see how their clients are operating in the competitive market of airlines. This involves taking in account their clients’ sales, pricing, commercial strategies, technological software, how they are set up in the global market and the workplace culture of the airline.

“We focus on all these issues and more, which often have to be adjusted in order to really get the airline efficient and be able to adapt to the needs in the competitive market,” says Oncken.

Before the company begins working with an airline they conduct thorough research to determine whether or not it is viable to work with the airline. Once the company has taken on a client they work to implement their restructuring services as quickly as possible. INTRO Aviation looks at aspects of the airlines to adjust and develops a business improvement programme which it implements along with management. This includes among many other points, defining the company's vision, revenue optimization, change and innovation management and a review and optimization of the systems infrastructure.

Oncken says following the end of the pandemic the entire airline industry was forced to restructure itself and many airlines are still struggling to make the necessary changes that have been seen in the wider industry.

“There are hardly any airline advising firms who have the entrepreneurial expertise to show smaller and medium sized airlines and startup airlines what they need to survive and be resilient for whatever comes next while giving them the tools to be able to do that,” says Oncken. “As former investors into airline companies we have shifted into the role of advisors in order to help as many smaller and medium sized airlines and startup airlines as we can, so they can thrive in the marketplace and larger industry.”

With over 40 years of business and a team of experienced aviation entrepreneurs, managers and turn-around specialists, INTRO Aviation is able to navigate through the complex legal jurisdictions and requirements of the international airline industry.
