Visionary Care Consultants reaches a key milestone with six years of service and 25 years of combined experience in their mission to provide expert level health care advocacy services to people who are 30-to-109-years-old.
Visionary Care Consultants take a multi-disciplinary approach when working with their clients and will work directly with family members and friends to determine the proper level of care needed for the client. The company was founded by Tina Buchanan who has career experience working in skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. She specializes in being able to discuss what her clients goals are and what their families goals are when seeking additional care options.
One of the key differentiators of Visionary Care Consultants is the range of services they offer and the diverse team within the company that can care for clients of a wide age range. Some of the providers at Visionary Care Consultants have experience working with people who have mental health issues, which enables them to take on clients who are under the age of 50 and provide mental health services for people in the comfort of their home.
According to Buchanan, the whole team at Visionary Care Consultants is dedicated to helping their clients and their families plan for any unforeseen issues that may arise in the future of their loved one’s health. She says their services are tailor made to each individual client’s needs.
“We work directly with all of our clients to give them the services they need and help them achieve the goals they are seeking in their healthcare journey,” says Buchanan. “Sometimes it can be stressful dealing with the inevitability of death or illness, but we take a lot of pride in being able to give our clients a peace of mind so they can age or potentially pass away with dignity and comfort.”
Buchanan has found throughout her time as a home health provider and founder of Visionary Care Consultants that when family members or loved ones have to act as caregivers it puts strain on their daily lives. One of the missions of the company is to give people the ability to have peace of mind and be with their loved ones through illness or the end of their lives and know they are being properly cared for.
Buchanan says it is important for people to be able to identify the potential for a healthcare crisis before it arises. She has found that it is common that when a crisis happens people don’t know how to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and are left trying to deal with the situation on their own. At Visionary Care Consultants, Buchanan or one of the team members will sit down with their clients to determine if there is a potential for a health crisis and that proper measures will be taken if one does take place.
