KMTC Technologies Holding GmbH, renowned for its cutting-edge innovations, is seeking industry specialist partners to accelerate the market introduction of the Vortifer Drive®. This initiative aligns with its strategy to connect its core technologies with diverse industrial applications, particularly in the aviation and drone sectors.

The innovative company has developed a proof of concept and secured patents for the Vortifer Drive®. Vortifer Drive is the first flying disc to take off in tethered flight in 2022, leading to its first patent, granted in Germany. This patent has now (2024) also been granted in the USA and Japan, and further grants have already been announced.

Now, the revolutionary propulsion system is at an advanced development stage, where close collaborations with experts in engineering and R&D on the side of the industry are crucial to fast-track Vortifer applications across various sectors.

KMTC Technologies is currently engaging with specialists in AI-controlled aviation and a CFD engineering service provider to develop an AI-based control system and to create a valid and comprehensive Vortifer Drive® simulation environment. This environment aids in the control system development and supports potential future applications. Significant advancements have been made toward a fully functional simulation, facilitating rapid iteration and optimization of the technology.

The applications of the Vortifer Drive® are vast and diverse. For instance, the drone sector offers an ideal solution for last-mile delivery, urban hubs, and on-demand services. It can effectively decongest cities and enable fast deliveries with little or no additional infrastructure needed. Because the Vortifer Drive® is scalable and adaptable, it is also suitable for different use cases, such as transatlantic shipments and large containers.

Moreover, as it is flexible to utilize various energy sources, the Vortifer Drive® shows immense potential to become a future-focused alternative to current air transport methods, with significantly lower energy demands and higher capacity.

Similarly, the Vortifer Drive® provides a solution for addressing logistical challenges. It can potentially revolutionize supply chain management and infrastructure congestion. Ultimately, by integrating the torus vortex principle, the Vortifer Drive® achieves remarkable energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability, positioning itself as a future-ready solution to industry challenges.

“In our opinion, a technology with such versatile application possibilities should be distributed across several shoulders. That’s why we’re focusing on developing cooperation models with industrial partners from various sectors and given the current state of development, we see the time to start discussions in this regard,” CEO Oliver Kauffmann remarks.

KMTC Technologies’ initiative to seek external expertise for the widespread utilization of Vortifer Drive® demonstrates its confidence in its immense potential. Interested partners are invited to collaborate and explore the possibilities of applying this revolutionary propulsion technology for different use cases across various sectors.
