Following years of quiet development and foundational work, Planet People Profit Impact (P3I.GLOBAL), formerly known as McMac CX, is formally opening its doors to collaboration. Under the leadership of founder and president David MacLean, the P3I Platform is inviting marketplace visionaries and best practice champions to co-create a new class of real-world, future-ready case studies that redefine how organizations design, build, and sustain places where people live, learn, work, and play.

The announcement marks a pivotal next chapter for the P3I Platform, an open call to influential leaders who are actively shaping how buildings and communities are planned, financed, and built across the Built Environment ecosystem. It’s for those individuals who are driving top-down decisions across portfolios. This includes decision-makers from the C-suite, leaders and portfolio managers, real estate developers, financiers, industry associations, and the public sector, even those innovating materials, technologies, and policies that form the foundation of better buildings.

“We’ve built the infrastructure. Now it’s time to populate it with pioneers,” said MacLean. “P3I.GLOBAL is a creative collision space. It’s not about me being the expert. It’s about convening the experts and helping them speak a common language rooted in impact and value. This is where breakthrough ideas meet business reality.”

The platform is built around a simple premise: the places corporations build and occupy have long-term environmental, social, and financial consequences. But too often, these impacts are obscured by short-term, minimum-code thinking and siloed processes.

Rather than focusing solely on carbon calculations or certification checklists, the platform monetizes a broader spectrum of outcomes, translating health, productivity, and sustainability into decision-ready business data. It reframes the value proposition of sustainability from a moral obligation to a market advantage.

By quantifying the expectation-reality gap, the difference between what stakeholders think they’re achieving and what actually happens when they settle for the cheapest, most conventional options, the platform helps both public and private sector players make smarter, more transparent decisions that benefit everyone involved. Each invited collaborator will gain access to the platform’s growing ecosystem of projects, simulations, and monetized case studies. MacLean and his team are currently designing onboarding pathways tailored to each stakeholder group.

For over a decade, MacLean, who chairs the USGBC Texas – Best Practices Committee and has spent over three decades in sustainability consulting, has been refining a system to articulate the why behind better building practices. P3I.GLOBAL is the culmination of that work.

The platform presents users with dynamic side-by-side comparisons backed by data and told in a language every stakeholder can understand. “We’ve already invented the technologies, proven the materials, and modeled the outcomes,” MacLean stated. “They’re sitting on the shelf. What we’ve lacked is a system that connects people across silos and distills all this potential into a compelling business case. And P3I.GLOBAL aims to do just that by offering a shared space where market actors can showcase, refine, and replicate what works.” In an era of both ESG backlash and quiet climate action, MacLean believes the future belongs to those who can prove value and impact simultaneously, with transparency, trust, and a deep understanding of what’s truly at stake.

The first wave of invitations is going out to select architectural firms, engineers of record, general contractors, and building systems manufacturers to join as part of P3I.GLOBAL’s curated onboarding initiative. A white paper detailing the benefits and responsibilities of each stakeholder category will follow.

“If you’re a decision-maker with a desire to be part of something transformative, we want to hear from you,” MacLean concluded. “The P3I Platform is your opportunity to showcase, scale, and shape generationally responsible futures, today.”
