Now spanning approximately 3,000 square feet, the expanded showroom serves as a hands-on window and door showroom, giving customers the ability to experience complete systems rather than isolated samples. “The biggest change is how people interact with the space,” Tashman explained. “Instead of guessing how something might look or function, they can experience it directly. That confidence matters—especially when you’re making decisions that affect your home.”
The remodeled showroom features a significantly expanded selection of wood, fiberglass, steel, and aluminum doors, paired with coordinating hardware displays that allow customers to view fully assembled systems in one place. Window exhibits have also been upgraded to highlight energy-efficient designs, thermally broken aluminum options, and architectural solutions that support both modern residences and historic homes—reinforcing Tashman’s role in providing custom windows and doors in West Hollywood.
Beyond the showroom, the remodel extends throughout the hardware store, originally opened in 1961. Hardware departments have been reset with wider aisles, improved flow, and modernized shelving designed to make navigation easier and shopping more efficient. The paint center, lawn and garden section, and core retail areas have also been refreshed to improve accessibility, visibility, and inventory clarity.
“We didn’t want this to be only a cosmetic update,” said Tashman. “This was about rethinking the entire customer experience—from someone grabbing a part quickly to a homeowner or contractor planning a complex project.”
The expansion also improves accessibility with added parking behind the showroom, addressing a long-standing challenge in the area. Infrastructure has been added to support future business-to-business services, strengthening Tashman Home Center’s role as window and door specialists serving West Hollywood, as well as contractors, designers, builders, and property managers throughout surrounding neighborhoods.
Internally, the updated layout gives the Tashman team enhanced capabilities. Improved displays and clearer merchandising allow staff to guide customers more efficiently, while dedicated consultation areas support focused conversations for larger or multi-product projects.
