It’s still common for teachers to pay out of pocket for basic classroom supplies. That’s backwards. Genie Academy, a leading SAT test prep & tutoring company and a trusted New Jersey tutoring center, is stepping in with a simple fix: free, ready-to-use supply kits for teachers.

Why we’re doing this
Genie Academy exists to help every student thrive. Equipping teachers is the fastest path to that goal. These kits aren’t just markers and paper; they’re tools that directly support instruction in math, reading, and writing—and they help teachers create organized, reliable classrooms where all students can learn.
What’s in the kit
Each kit is built for real classroom use and may include:
- Dry-erase markers
- Erasers
- Pencils
- Sticky notes
Kits are assembled with input from working teachers and Genie Academy coaches to reflect day-to-day needs, from supporting struggling students to enriching advanced learners. This hands on approach reflects the same care families expect from a high-quality New Jersey tutoring center.
How it works
- Who qualifies: K–12 classroom teachers in public, charter, or private schools in the communities Genie Academy serves.
- How to request: Apply online at https://www.genieacademy.com/f... or contact your nearest Genie Academy location, a local New Jersey tutoring center, to schedule a pickup.
- Availability: Limited quantities. Rolling approvals while supplies last. Priority given to classrooms with demonstrated need.
- Community support: Local organizations can “sponsor a kit” or fund a school set. Genie Academy also allocates donations and grants to keep the program stocked and free.
A community standard, not a one-off
“This isn’t a publicity stunt,” Jain added. “It’s about fairness and focus. Teachers should spend their energy teaching, not chasing supplies. We’ll keep this program going—with help from families and local businesses—so classrooms have what they need all year.”
