Two Nights. Two Cities. One Powerful Celebration of Courage and Community.
For International Women’s Day, Jessica Janzen and Lauren Kyle McDavid took the stage as featured speakers at the 2026 Women + Wealth Galas, a two-city celebration designed to inspire connection, elevate women’s voices, and give back to the community.
Hosted by Women & Wealth Inc., the back-to-back celebrations on March 6 in Edmonton and March 7 in Calgary brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers in a shared commitment to elevate women’s voices. Net proceeds from the events will support local charitable initiatives, continuing the organization’s mission to create meaningful opportunities for women.
The Women + Wealth movement began in 2016 as an initiative of Raintree Financial Solutions after identifying the gender gap in financial services. What started as a single corporate gathering has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to redefining prosperity. Its philosophy centers on the belief that wealth extends beyond finances to include time with family, meaningful work, wellbeing, and the courage to pursue bold goals.
In Edmonton, Lauren Kyle McDavid shared insights from her expanding portfolio of ventures across fashion, interior design, and hospitality, speaking candidly about entrepreneurship and building a brand with intention.
In Calgary, Jessica Janzen brought her signature high-energy storytelling and practical resilience strategies to the stage. A bestselling author of Bring the Joy, Janzen is also co-founder of the The Love for Lewiston Foundation, which has raised more than $3 million for Spinal Muscular Atrophy research and helped advance newborn screening in Alberta.
“When women gather with openness and courage, transformation happens,” said Jessica Janzen. “True wealth is not just financial. It is found in our resilience, our relationships, and our willingness to rise together.”
Her message resonated deeply with the audience, with attendees describing her keynote as “empowering,” “transformational,” and “uplifting,”. Many shared that they left feeling more confident and courageous. One attendee reflected, “Jessica didn’t just inspire me, she challenged me to think bigger about my life. I left believing I am capable of more than I’ve been allowing.”
Through the 2026 Women + Wealth Galas, International Women’s Day became more than a celebration. It became a catalyst for continued momentum and meaningful impact across Alberta.
