Bank Midwest is pleased to announce the appointment of David Gullixson as Senior Commercial Lender at the bank’s newly opened Mankato loan office, as well as its New Ulm branch.
Gullixson, who brings over a decade of experience in banking and business development, steps into this expanded role with a strong background in commercial lending, team leadership, and community engagement. His leadership will play a pivotal role in Bank Midwest’s continued growth and success in the Mankato and New Ulm areas.

A Wealth of Experience and Local Expertise
Gullixson will be based in the bank’s Mankato loan office, where he will focus on expanding the bank's presence and providing personalized financial services to businesses in the region. He is deeply committed to the Mankato area, having grown up in the region.

Gullixson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethany Lutheran College and further expanded his financial expertise through the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. Prior to joining Bank Midwest, Gullixson served as Vice President of Business Banking at Pioneer Bank for 10 years and was instrumental in helping local businesses achieve their financial goals through tailored banking solutions.
Outside of work, Gullixson enjoys spending time with his wife, Briana, their three daughters, and their dog, Penny. He is an active coach, often found on the sidelines of his daughters' sports teams, and loves supporting them as they develop their athletic skills.
