"When homeowners know they'll eventually need an electrical panel upgrade or an EV charger, it often makes sense to do everything at once," Nikolin explained. "The project may take a little longer, but it usually saves time, money, and disruption compared with scheduling separate jobs."
The guide also clarifies a common misconception around installation versus permitting timelines. While most systems are fully operational by the end of installation, inspections and permit approvals typically occur afterward, often within 24 hours in Seattle.
For longer installations, the company emphasizes maintaining homeowner comfort throughout the process.
"If we're working over multiple days, we don't want families living without heating or cooling," Nikolin said. "We plan ahead and bring in temporary equipment so the home stays comfortable while we finish the installation."
