M&Co are proud to support the Wattisham Military Wives Choir, providing the choir with little black dresses from the new Christmas collection for all of their performances. M&Co are delighted to be the chosen retailer and are delighted to support this inspiring choir.

The Wattisham Military Wives choir was formed in January 2012 by Sally Wilkinson, whilst her husband was deployed in Afghanistan. Sally was inspired by Gareth Malone’s BBC television series The Choir and wanted to see if she could recreate the same level of support and success for the wives of Wattisham Flying Station situated in Suffolk.

To-date the choir now comprises 50 wives and girlfriends who meet weekly and are led by choirmaster Michael Dann. Astonishing achievements for the choir includes selected members singing on the Diamond Jubilee Track “Sing” written by Gary Barlow and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, and performing it live at the Diamond Jubilee Concert in June. Most recently the choir performed at the prestigious Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Concert in Trafalgar Square on 24th October in their gorgeous M&Co little black dresses. The Wattisham Military Wives Choir also features on the new Military Wives second album “Stronger Together” which goes on sale on the 5th November.

The M&Co dresses selected by the choir are the Boutique pleated wrap dress (£59) and the short sleeve rib bodycon dress (£39) which are available now in stores nationwide and online at M&Co Women’s Clothing
