International Author, HK Savage, released her first digital series amidst a flurry of rave reviews alongside debut author, EC Hibbs. Hibbs's debut is being hailed as a "masterpiece" by Young Adult and Teen Readers.

HK Savage, author of strong performers such as The Empath Trilogy and The Path (RT Book Reviews rated 4/4 stars), makes her first foray into the adult paranormal realm with Second Sight, book 1 in her new series, The Admiral's Elite. The series is a paranormal romance with a military spin, a hot theme this year with many authors capitalizing on the popularity of soldiers in fiction. Already Savage is racking up 5 star reviews from Paranormal Book Club, The Open Book Society, and Young Adult and Teen Readers. Savage's new series is her first truly adult novel and her fans as well as reviewers are declaring it her "best work yet," saying "Savage has another hit on her hands." "Savage writes such believable paranormal and captivating characters, I have to remind myself it isn't real."

A new author in the Staccato Publishing stable under their digital imprint, Darkest Night Publishing, is EC Hibbs. The British author is a young University student but already this first work, Blindsighted Wanderer, is being hailed as a "masterpiece" and her coming of age fantasy aimed at young adult audiences is "expertly told." Blindsighted Wanderer is a tale that weaves a fresh spin on the mythology of water nymphs into a brothers' journey to clear their family of a curse that has put the men of their family in an early grave for generations.

These two releases close out the small boutique publisher's titles for the year with the first of next year, Taking Angels by CS Yelle, due out March 26. Until then, the staff will be completing several freelance editing and cover design projects for authors interested in self-publishing.
