CS Yelle, author of The Protector of Ter Chadain series, a Young Adult Fantasy series with a loyal fan following already clamoring for the next installment has taken a step outside his comfort zone and crossed the veil to the paranormal. His first paranormal work, Taking Angels, is the first book in his new series, The Angel Crusades. Yelle has taken on a huge commitment by choosing to write two series simultaneously but it's one his publisher, Heather Savage of Staccato Publishing, says he can handle. "CS Yelle is a prolific writer and just sitting in the same room with him bouncing ideas around we usually come up with about four more series he could write but for now, the limit is two for sanity sake. His and mine." Savage says Yelle is "energetic and passionate" about his writing. He manages to write while still working, a reality for the majority of authors but one he handles flawlessly.

"Craig and I had not worked together before," Savage says of how the work came to her. "I knew he was published but that was it. Taking Angels came to my attention in a book group I moderate for authors seeking publication. He brought it in and presented some for us to dissect. I liked it and asked to see more. Then more. Within two weeks I'd read it all and we were talking contracts." Yelle's other series, The Protector of Ter Chadain is currently published by Argus Publishing, another small press. "I didn't want to step on anybody's toes but I wanted this book. I asked him if he was interested in trying us for this series, his other contract allowed it, and there it was. We were rolling within a few months." Savage says Yelle is a pleasure to work with as are all of her authors. Craig is different though because he actually lives nearby so they can conduct their meetings in person as opposed to the usual emails and phone calls.

Advance reviews are coming in for Taking Angels and they are "fabulous" says Savage. The official release date is March 26 but we are having a few pre-release events including pre-orders to guarantee availability. "Considering Craig often sells out at his signings we thought we would make sure we have enough to go around," Savage says after speaking to local bookstore owner, Sheri Olsen of Reading Frenzy Bookshop Zimmerman, MN. Craig will be signing his book both at the Zimmerman Community Business Expo March 16 from noon - 2 and then again at Reading Frenzy Bookshop the following weekend, March 23 again from noon - 2.

Of their business relationship, Savage says: "We're so excited to have CS Yelle on board with us and can't wait to watch his career continue to blossom. No one deserves it more."
