NFM, Inc. congratulates the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore for putting on an amazing 5k Run & Walk, and the race winners for supporting the families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore.

The Red Shoe Shuffle was held on Sunday, April 14th 2013 at 9 a.m. There were over 2,000 participants. It was a beautiful day, and our NFM team was thrilled to be a part of it. We are excited to announce that not only were we the third largest team with 45 members, we also had two runners rank in the top 100, Bryan Harrison and Mike Fithian.

We would like to congratulate Team Shocks Rocks for raising the most money for the organization and having the largest team!

Racers were asked to set up personal donation websites so that friends and family members could send donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore. The proceeds from these personal donation pages and the race are going toward replacing their current shuttle. This shuttle is used to transport to and from area hospitals where children are being treated. The transportation helps families focus on their children instead of worrying about driving in the city, parking, or walking to and from area hospitals.

The course was great for both professional runners and parents with strollers. The top finishing racers and top individual and team fundraisers were awarded various prizes. Each participant received a Red Shoe Shuffle shirt which was donated by Under Armor and a goodie bag.

After the race, there was free food and drinks, a DJ, and family fun activities. Ronald McDonald, Batman, and Elvis, were some of the characters there for photo opportunities.
