Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation is proud to be partnered with Special Olympics in the state of Georgia to keep our local communities safe and looking beautiful. Not only is Special Olympics a great cause in what they do, their organization is now taking their good will one step further and providing litter removal in and around their local community through the Sponsor A Highway Program.

Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Their goal is to help bring people with intellectual disabilities into the larger society under conditions where they are accepted, respected, and given the chance to successful and productive citizens. Special Olympics Georgia serves more than 24,470 athletes with intellectual disabilities in over 180 programs.

The Special Olympics Organization is non-profit, and all the programs set in place to help these individuals are supported through community donations and Corporate Sponsorships.

We commemorate Special Olympics Georgia for always finding new ways to give back to the local community, and it’s exciting that now being partnered with AHMC we can both do that together.

“The unique value that Special Olympics bring is that it shows the world that every person counts and that every person can be something good when we work together.”
