Drop Off Toys for Tots at North Dallas Moving & Storage

For the second year in a row, North Dallas Moving & Storage is participating in the Toys for Tots holiday campaign. The annual toy drive first began in Los Angeles in 1947, when retired Marine Corps colonel William Hendricks found there was no easy way to donate toys to needy children. Since then, the program has distributed millions of toys during the holiday season, with local businesses helping by volunteering as collection sites. Brandon Morris, President of North Dallas Moving & Storage answered the call again this year. “We just want to help the kids in our community,” said Morris. “We’re fortunate to have such a blessed Christmas, but a lot of people aren’t.”

Toys for Tots contributors can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the North Dallas Moving & Storage facility at 1804 Trinity Valley Drive in Carrollton, Texas. The company will collect toys from now until December 13th, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturday, December 7th from 8 a.m. until noon. Morris hopes that by making the drop-off easy, even more people will donate Toys for Tots. “Last year, we collected nearly two hundred toys,” Morris said. “This year, we’d like to double that. We'd like to make sure that every kid in our community gets a Christmas present.”
