Staccato Publishing introduces its newest author team, Downey Greene this week and their debut novel, Partners in Crime. Romantic Times Book Review gave Partners in Crime 4.5 stars, calling it "a scorcher". Laura Moore, author of Once Tempted, says, "Debut authors Downey Greene deliver heart-stopping and edgy romantic suspense. Raw, gripping, and fiercely sexy, you won't be able to put Partners in Crime down."

Maureen Downey and Alison Greene met through social media, connecting over a shared passion for books and writing. Discussions turned to emails and soon, a powerful writing team was born, Downey Greene. The duo continually talks and writes, sharing plot ideas, editing tips, and the usual writing frustrations via technology. A few "writing workshops" where Greene went to Downey's home to write together were the only exceptions, otherwise the entire book was written from two different minds several hundred miles apart.

With the launch of their exciting debut, Downey Greene is already promising a second book in the series (summer 2015) and has included the first chapter as a teaser in Partners in Crime.

Staccato Publishing has announced signing Young Adult author, Aaron Michael Ritchey (Long Live the Suicide King, The Never Prayer) for his next work, Elizabeth's Midnight (winter 2014) and is working with another horror writer from down under and more domestic talent to negotiate contracts for the coming year as well.
