Excerpts from the Royal Thai Army ’s directly institutions previous meeting, Royal Thai Army (RTA) Chief Prayuth Chan-ocha shown appreciation to the Royal Thai Army leader and all soldiers for their outstanding performance and hard work 2 months ago. Most especially to those who worked on Thai border areas. According to Royal Thai Army deputy spokesperson Colonel Sirichan Ngathong that Army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha commanded them to work effectively and protect Thailand by maintaning peace and order.
COL. Sirichan Ngathong aforementioned that Royal Thai Army has responsibilities for their 3 missions. First, is the mission of the sovereign protecting on Thai border area. Second , is the Internal Security and the work support of the Internal Security Division in the Kingdom. And lastly the mission support of the National Council for Peace and Order.
RTA Chief Prayuth Chan-ocha assigned the soldiers of all department to form a group of Thai citizens that aims to strengthen camaraderie and unity. Army Chief added that he wants to eliminate the conflict and resolve the problems to achieve sustainable developments, and encourages the people to do good deeds for peace in the society.
In addition, COL. Sirichan Ngathong said that the RTA Chief also instructed the Royal Thai Army deparments as well as the soldiers to abide and operate accordingly by following the Thai core values to strengthen the good moral in Thailand. Including all activities that Royal Thai Army is involve, He emphasized that they should embody the 12 commandments of Thai core values and clarify about the understanding of the role to all sectors.
Furthermore, the Royal Thai Army also has a policy to the different departments of Royal Thai Army including the Army support division to add the Thai core values into the military course for the soldiers to implement. . Through this Royal Thai Army will disseminate the information to the public via radio and television.
