Royal Thai Army Helps People Suffering From Long Drought

Royal Thai Army sent trucks loaded with water to help people who suffer from drought leading to water supply shortages.

The 4th Infantry Battalion Commander Thanitpont Hongwilai take the lead and sent truck loaded with water to help people who suffer from drought leading to water supply shortages.

 

This shortage problem is in Pak Cham district, Amphoe Huay Yod, Trang province. There are 7 villages and 60 households who’s affected to this calamity.  The people in these areas have to buy water because the water supply system  is not enough to sustain their daily needs and the water sources around dries up.

 

The Trang’s Prevention and Mitigation Division Office has announced that the Pak Cham district is in emergency disaster areas and expected that this might cause problem and violence.

 

After the Army has received the assistance request, the Royal Thai Army chief ordered to the 4th Infantry Battalion Commander to send the soldiers and truck of water with a capacity of 6 liters of water to helps the victims.

 

Aside from Pak Cham district, Thung Yao Village, Amphoe Doi Saket, Chiang Mai province has also shortage problem. There are 100 household suffering water shortage problemfor 4 days.
