ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi acknowledged that youngsters can contribute to the development of the country by freelancing in the IT sector.
President Alvi said that IT has transformed all industries and has the power to create exponential change while speaking at the Freelance Fest in Islamabad on Saturday.
He emphasised the importance of youth skill development in order to take advantage of expanding IT opportunities.
According to the President, artificial intelligence is being utilised in all businesses around the world, and we must follow suit in order to move the country ahead.

Earlier, the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi had a virtual meeting with technology entrepreneurs of Singapore to offer huge investment opportunities in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Digitalization.
Arif Alvi urged international companies to invest in Pakistan and benefit from the business-friendly environment of the country.
While highlighting the adequate tech talent in Pakistan, the president maintained that the economy in Pakistan is also becoming more conducive to foreign investment.
He urged foreign companies to use emerging technologies and Big Data Solutions to benefit from the opportunities Pakistan is offering.
