Stickerly, the Web2 legacy platform of STIX, will direct its users to STIX for onchain competitions and rewards

STIX, the Web3 platform for meme promotions and competitions, disclosed that a new onboarding system to attract mainstream audiences from the Web2 Stickerly app is underway.

STIX is a derivative project of Stickerly, one of the world’s largest Web2 User-generated content stickers with over 20 million monthly active users and over 400 million lifetime users. As the crypto spinoff of Stickerly, the STIX platform facilitates gamified competitions of memes.

A central mission for STIX has been to serve as a conduit for Stickerly users into the blockchain space. As such, STIX enjoys an exclusive integration with the Stickerly application enabling select UGC memes from STIX to be published on the Stickerly application. This integration has introduced millions of Web2 Stickerly users to crypto memes, and now the STIX team has revealed that it is taking the Stickerly crypto onboarding plans to the next level.

Ian Maverick, Special Advisor at STIX explained: “The STIX team and Stickerly team have been working tirelessly in the last weeks to design the optimum roadmap for guiding Stickerly users to STIX. Under the new onboarding system, STIX will offer specific benefits to users who are identified as Stickerly users by employing a login credential check that cross references the user database of both applications. STIX will be first aiming to onboard Stickerly Premium users - users who are active paying users on Stickerly that are typically top meme creators or heavy spenders on memes - by offering incentive campaigns unique to new users originating from Stickerly. These users will be asked to participate in meme minting or voting, sharing activities in order to strengthen the flywheel of Web2 user acquisition. Regular updates on such campaigns will be shared in Stickerly’s social media channels such as Discord or X, in addition to in-app notifications.

The combination of platform-wide marketing efforts and innovative reward campaigns is expected to appeal to Stickerly users, who are mainly located in traditionally pro-crypto regions like Southeast Asia and Latin America. These mainstream onboarding initiatives are currently slated to commence shortly after the relaunch of the STIX platform in the coming days.
