Dr. Alejandra Vivas is a board-certified dermatologist at Minars Dermatology in Hollywood, Florida, who has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Dermatologists in 2022 and 2023. Born in Austin, Texas, with Venezuelan heritage through her parents, Dr. Vivas earned her medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela. She graduated with honors in the top 5% of her class. After completing her intern year at Cleveland Clinic Florida (Weston), she then pursued a research fellowship in Wound Healing at the University of Miami (UM), where she:
- Conducted multiple clinical trials
- Co-authored over 35 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters
