Steven Zhao, Canada & World Report- On December 28, the 6th (2025) World President’s Conference officially opened in Beijing, bringing together global leaders to build consensus on digital intelligence, green development, and sustainable cooperation. As a high-level international dialogue platform spanning more than 100 countries and regions and connecting over 5,000 chambers of commerce and industry associations worldwide, the Conference is jointly hosted by multiple foreign embassies in China and supported by the China International Public Relations Association. The theme of this year’s event is “AI-Driven Digital Empowerment for Green Development and Building a Sustainable Future Together.”

Held in a hybrid format, the Conference linked the Beijing main venue with 13 overseas sub-venues, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as 20 domestic sub-venues across China, including Hong Kong, Macao, Shanghai, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Fujian, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Henan, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Xiamen, and Shijiazhuang. More than 2,000 representatives participated online and offline.
Since its launch in Hangzhou in 2020, the World President’s Conference has grown from a regional exchange platform into a global bridge for cooperation, reaching more than three million participants worldwide. While continuing its core mission of promoting global cooperation and shared development, the Conference increasingly focuses on the integration of digital intelligence and green transformation.

Ms. Cecilia Chirita, Counsellor and Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to the People's Republic of China, delivered remarks on behalf of the co-hosts, emphasizing that digitally empowered green development is a shared global pursuit.
Liu Jiang, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the World President’s Conference and Executive President of the Hangzhou Public Relations Association, reviewed the Conference’s development from Hangzhou to Beijing, highlighting the importance of leveraging global social organizations to promote cross-border flows of green technologies, materials, and capital.

The Conference was officially declared open by Télesphore IRAMBONA, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to China. Dr. Zhang Jing’an, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote address on innovation-driven development and international cooperation in green transformation.
At the opening ceremony, Ling Danhong, President of the Australian Women Entrepreneurs Association, together with 14 presidents of global business associations, jointly released the 2025 Global Social Organization Green Development White Paper, calling for enhanced collaboration in technology, industry, and resource sharing to advance global sustainable development.
The Conference is jointly organized by the Inner Mongolia Public Relations Association, Guizhou International and Domestic Public Relations Association, Jiangxi Public Relations Association, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and Macao Chinese Arts and Cultural Exchange Promotion Association.
As digital intelligence and green development increasingly converge, the 6th (2025) World President’s Conference continues to advance global cooperation and contribute to building a sustainable future shared by all.
