Mika C Ltd, a Calgary home renovation contractor based at 320F 65 Ave SE, has reached five years in business. The company was incorporated in Alberta on Sept. 16, 2021, and handles kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, basement development and custom home builds for homeowners across Calgary and nearby communities, including Airdrie.
Over those five years, Mika C Ltd has organized its work around four core project types and publishes typical timelines for most of them. Construction on a kitchen renovation typically runs three to six weeks, and a basement development typically takes six to 10 weeks of construction once permits are approved. A custom home build typically runs eight to 18 months. Every project starts with a free on-site estimate, and a workmanship warranty is set out in each project agreement.
As a renovation contractor in Calgary, the company holds a City of Calgary contractor business license. Mika C Ltd is accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, and homeowners have given the company a 4.9-star average across more than 80 Google reviews.
The company’s service area covers neighborhoods across the city, from Tuscany and Rocky Ridge in the northwest to Auburn Bay, Chaparral and Shawnessy in the south, along with inner-city areas such as Bridgeland, Altadore and Marda Loop. Beyond its four core services, Mika C Ltd also takes on roofing, siding, landscaping, exterior repairs and interior work such as flooring, drywall and room additions. The company sources its materials from Alberta suppliers whenever possible.
