If you were to ask Thomas Ramgadoo if he should receive any special recognition for his recent gift to a homeless shelter then he would quickly opt out, but he definitely deserves the credit. Most recently Thomas Ramgadoo secured rental property at his own expense in order to help out a local homeless shelter. The rental properties were organized as a “come one come all” resource for those in need of immediate shelter.

During this time of year many of the homeless and hungry are often left out in the cold as the holiday cheer fades away. After the symbolic Thanksgiving dinners, and the Church sponsored baskets have since gone empty, the homeless are once again ignored and isolated in their condition. This is one of the reasons Thomas Ramgadoo’s gift to the homeless is so special.

It proves that one person can make a difference even, and often times starts with one single person. And yes, the issue of homelessness and hunger seems to be too much for one person to bear, but imagine the results if everyone pull together in order to address. It.
