Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Announces New Mobile App for Work Requests

New mobile app enables any user to submit newly discovered maintenance problems for fast response, company states it's ideal for management use.

Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Inc. announced today the launching of a new mobile application, TR Work Request. TR Work Request is designed to enable any Transcendent® user to complete and submit a work request.

The application is ideal for any EAM CMMS user that has discovered work that needs to be done. With TR Work Request, users can submit a work request using any iOS supported mobile devices such as an iPhone or iPad.

With just a few taps, a user can submit a work request, which is put into the work request queue. A notification is then sent to maintenance management so it can be prioritized and assigned.

One of the best features of TR Work request is that a user can attach a photo to the work request to help explain the situation. Once the work is completed, an email is sent back to the original submitter.
