Rosen Motors Marks 25th 'AnniVERSAry' with Three Nissan Versa Giveaways

Since opening its doors in 1989, the Rosen Motors Group has thrived by doing business differently, and its 25th anniversary celebration is certainly reflecting its unique focus on the customer. The group of 10 auto sales and service locations in Chicagoland and Milwaukee is paying respect to its patrons by giving away three vehicles in 2014, with the first model, a Nissan Versa, already taken home by an audience member of ABC7 Chicago's "Windy City LIVE" on May 19 during sweeps period.

The general public was invited to enter the first round of the Rosen Motors Silver AnniVERSAry Car Giveaway by completing a web form at www.rosenrosen.com or by liking the Windy City LIVE Facebook page. Out of the roughly 12,300 registrants, 75 were randomly chosen to attend an airing of "Windy City LIVE" for a chance to win the Nissan Versa. On hand to pick the winner's name out of a raffle drum was Jeff Rosen, who announced that Joslyn Jones of Chicago was the lucky audience member.

First stunned, then ecstatic, Jones told the audience she would be retiring a 21-year-old car named Champagne that runs on prayers before she was swept away in the silver 2014 Versa outside of the studio. Though there could be only one winner that day, everyone in the audience left with a goody bag containing a $100 coupon book for oil changes and other service at Rosen dealerships.

"We couldn't have grown our auto group from one store to 10 in less than a quarter century without the lasting support of our customers and the communities that we serve, and our car giveaways are allowing us to say 'thank you' in one of the biggest ways possible," Rosen said. "The Versa giveaway with ABC7 Chicago was one of the station's most successful promotions ever, and we're looking forward to building on that feat by continuing to engage the public with our next two events."

The second Silver Anniversary Car Giveaway will take place at Rosen Nissan Milwaukee in July through a similar promotion with NBC affiliate WTMJ. Once again, those interested will be able to register on the Rosen Motors website. To be among the first to learn when registration opens and when the giveaway date will be, participants can "like" the auto group on Facebook at www.facebook.com/RosenMotors. This fall, the final car will be given away through a repeat promotion with "Windy City LIVE" that will again be timed around sweeps period.

While it was Jeff Rosen's uncle, Saul Rosen, who laid the groundwork for Rosen Motors by opening Rosen Nissan-Suzuki in Milwaukee in February of 1989, Jeff and his brother-in-law, Scott Levy, have used their training from Saul to play major roles in the group's aggressive growth over the years.
