Scherrer Construction has been working in partnership with Angus-Young Associates, which has recently completed an extensive renovation project. The project was the renovation of the expansive yet outdated Delevan’s outdated community building. By partnering with the leading roofing contractors Wausau, WI, the building has been transformed into a premier wedding and event venue on Waters Edge on Delavan Lake. The commercial construction project is being hailed as the best one in years, with Scherrer Construction services at its helm.
The new facility measures 8230-square-foot and includes a large 240 capacity event space, complete with a private bridal suite, a prep kitchen, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the calm Delavan Lake. Scherrer Construction, as part of the renovation project, has also installed an elevator that effectively updates the building to the current ADA compliance standards.
Waters Edge on Delavan Lake hosted its first event on October 23rd, mainly for the Town’s Oktoberfest celebration. However, there was also a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was held during the event as part of officially celebrating the completion of the project. Furthermore, the newly renovated venue has already started booking events, many of which are scheduled well into 2022.
