Values-Based Marketing Agency, Intuitive Digital, Has Received A B Corp Certification

Intuitive Digital, a Portland-based marketing agency, has received its B Corp certification for prioritizing sustainability and employee equity.

Intuitive Digital is a values-based marketing agency that works to reduce inequity and environmental damage. They have been certified by the nonprofit B Corp since December 2020 and are in the pipeline for an updated B Impact Score that illustrates Intuitive Digital’s desire to become a better business for the planet and the people they serve.


B Corp conducts a holistic assessment of companies in five impact areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Applicants receive a detailed explanation of their rating for each category and subcategory. This precise level of reporting gives businesses clear feedback about their weaknesses and an opportunity to compare themselves against others undergoing the same certification. A score of 80 is required to become a B Corp company. Their website calculates that an average organization would only reach 50.9. Intuitive Digital’s current score is 82.3. After recertification, they hope to surpass 100 points due to their improved sustainability and equitable practices.


The marketing industry can be toxic and demanding for employees. While low retention rates and unhealthy work-life balances are extremely common, Intuitive Digital has decided to combat that narrative. For this year, they will be incorporating email marketing services and publishing their first comprehensive impact report, which speaks to the changes they are aiming to make in the industry.
