Royal Thai Army Chief explain the Peace Keeping policy in Bangkok

Royal Thai Army plans for peacekeeping after the explosion in front of Siam Paragon, Bangkok.

After the Royal Thai  Army ’s directly institutions meeting, the Royal Thai Army Chief Udomdech Sitabuth said the Royal Thai Army officers discussed  Thailand  peace keeping that includes the Thai Border Area situation, Bangkok bomb situation,  and Natural calamities. Furthermore it was also been discussed the Sufficiency Economy principle powered. The action will focus on the cooperation between Royal Thai Army and the private sectors. Royal Thai Army is mainly in the implementation of this policy for the Sufficiency Economy project can be tangible and more extended the results.

 

The Army will begin to understand the Thai Army Area Commander and the Battalion Commander in order to create mutual understanding among the people of the area and will have to resolve the people’s problems in those areas as well.

 

For the explosion in front of Siam Paragon, Bangkok, the Royal Thai Army Chief  said he sent the soldiers  to jointly examine with the police officers because this is in the area of responsibility of the 2nd Cavalry Division, Royal’s Guard. “Now we send the soldiers to take care in those areas and we offerered help to the police officers” he said.

However, the incident was believed not to challenge the authority of the National Council for Peace and Order. But it may be perpetrated by group of people who prank or it may be a symbolic representation by some group of people. So we still can not identify or specify the reason behind the incident.
